The 16 clubs remaining in this season’s Champions League will be waiting nervously this morning as the draw for the last 16 of the competition takes place today.

Five English clubs are involved in the knockout stages for the very first time as Manchester United, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all made it through the group stage.

They now join European giants like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of Europe’s premier competition.

What time is the Champions League draw?

The draw is being made at 11am today (Monday, December 11).

What TV channel is the draw on?

BT Sport 2 will be showing the drama unfold with coverage starting at 10.45am.

Where is the draw taking place?

The balls will be drawn at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Who can the English clubs draw?

In the last 16, a side cannot draw anyone from their own domestic league, or a club from the same group from which they qualified.

Sides that finished top of their group can only play teams that finished second and vice-versa.
