Queen Letizia showed that selfies are a universal concept today after she posed with staff and students while visiting Dakar University today.
Looking office-ready in a tailored cream trouser-suit, the Spanish royal, who arrived in the West African country on Monday night, looked more than happy to strike a pose with well-wishers.
A large crowd, many carrying welcoming signs and including the university's current generation of students, turned out to see Letizia, 45, on her second day in the country.

The four-day royal visit is designed to support Spanish co-operation projects including the defense of women's rights and social and economic developments in the country.
The Queen consort is on her last overseas visit before the Christmas break and looked chic in a tailored cream suit, worn over a black-and-white houndstooth top.
She wore her highlighted brunette locks in loose ringlets and donned a pair of festive earrings – diamond-studded stars. The Spanish style icon finished the look with a glossy lip and smokey eyes.

The royal visit is the Queen's last overseas tour before Christmas, which she'll spend in Madrid with her husband King Felipe IV and daughters Leonor and Sofia
When she touched down on Monday night, Letizia showcased her faultless style in a fit-and-flare dress with eye-catching monochrome stripes for her arrival at at Dakar airport.
She was met by First Lady Marieme Faye Sall, who is the wife of the country's President Macky Sall.
The pair appeared to be getting along famously as the laughed and joked on the tarmac before heading indoors.
The Spanish queen consort's visit is intended to boost support for the cooperation projects that Spain has in Senegal, such as the defence of women's rights and social and economic development.
Letizia, who is the wife of King Felipe VI, is due to kick off her engagements tomorrow at the Technical Cooperation Office of the AECID, where she will hold a meeting with Spanish and international cooperation workers.
Later, she will move to the 'Aula Cervantes' in the Campus of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD), the country's main university.

There, she will be informed of the work of the Cervantes Institute in Senegal and attend a meeting with the rector of the UCAD and other academic authorities, as well as Spanish teachers and students.
She will be treated to lunch at t the luxurious Terou-Ki hotel, a five star hotel with spectacular sea views, before heading on to visit to Red Cross of Dakar to learn about a project for the protection of Senegalese women's rights.
The mother-of-two is accompanied by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean, Fernando García Casas, as well as the Director of Cooperation with Africa and Asia of the AECID, Cristina Díaz.
