Peter Stefanovic reported from the funeral of three family members who were killed in a Boxing Day car crash on Wednesday.
The Channel Nine personality joined a group of journalists at St Mary's Church in Sydney's Inner West to cover the tragic event.
Lars, Vivian and Annabelle Falkholt were farewelled as 29-year-old Home and Away star Jessica clings to life in hospital.

Peter was seen talking with a colleague as he waited outside the church and checked his phone.
Last month, parents Lars and Vivian were killed when their car collided with another vehicle on the NSW south coast.
Daughters Annabelle and Jessica were pulled from the fiery wreckage by brave bystanders and airlifted to hospital.

Annabelle died of her injuries in hospital three days later while Jessica continues to fight for her life in hospital.
An up and coming actress, Jessica was on the way to stardom after starring on Home and Away in 2016.

Former 60 Minutes reporters Peter and Allison Langdon replace current hosts Tom Steinfort and Deborah Knight, who are moving to other roles at Nine.
Tom will be moving into a role on 60 Minutes while Deborah will be replacing Georgie Gardner as weekend newsreader.
Peter's wife Sylvia Jeffreys will continue to read the news on the weekday version of Today while his brother Karl Stefanovic co-hosts the breakfast show with Georgie.
