On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Wolf,” White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah argued that Senate Democrats “blinked” in the government shutdown battle.
Anchor Wolf Blitzer asked Shah, “Do you believe the Senate Democrats blinked?”
Shah responded, “I think the fact that they’re voting in favor of this proposal that they had rejected a few days ago is sort of evidence that they blinked.”
Shah further stated that the president wants immigration reform that deals with DACA recipients, a border wall, ending the visa lottery system, and reforms the chain migration system and wants a bipartisan group to work towards a deal on immigration.
