Emeli Sandé was awarded an MBE in a ceremony with Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace on Thursday.
The Scottish singer, 30, has received several accolades in her time, including four BRIT Awards and three MOBO Awards, and was undoubtedly thrilled to add The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire to her list.
Clad in a printed maxi dress, the Next To Me hitmaker looked elegant as she spoke with the Prince of Wales at the ceremony.

Emeli dazzled for the big day as she donned a colourful peplum hem dress cut to ankle length to show off her black court heels.
She wore her golden locks styled in their signature quiff, whilst she accessorised with a pair of ornate chandelier style earrings.
Speaking in a Twitter video, ahead of the ceremony, the star said: 'What's important to me is that I can represent you and make you feel empowered. I want you to feel that nothing is impossible.
'Thank you so much for making this ridiculously ambitious dream a reality and I pray that I can play a part in making your wildest dreams come true.'

Emeli, who was born in Sunderland to Zambian father Joel Sande and English mother Diane Sande, has had a string of hits including two UK number one singles.
The musician, from Alford, Aberdeenshire, was named Brit Awards Critics’ Choice winner for 2012 and in the same year performed at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in London.
She has also taken part in the charity singles Do They Know It’s Christmas? (2014), recorded to raise funds for the Ebola crisis in west Africa, and Bridge Over Troubled Water in response to the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy.

Emeli wasn't the only musician to receive an MBE on Thursday, with Sandie Shaw also mentioned in the Queen’s Birthday Honours last year, in recognition of her services to music.
The swinging sixties star scored Britain’s first Eurovision Song Contest win in 1967 with her hit Puppet On A String.
The 70-year-old, who achieved three UK number one singles in her career and was known for performing barefoot, said of her award she was 'proud to be representing women in music amongst the honours'.

Meanwhile, designer Sir Terence Conran had the rare privilege of becoming a member of the Order of the Companions of Honour – a special award held by only 65 people at any one time, recognising services of national importance.
The 86-year-old founder of furniture company Habitat was recognised for services to design.
Also among those picking up honours was Majid Mukadam, a lung and transplant surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, who has spent the last six years encouraging the Asian community to join the organ donor register.
Sergeant Mark Wright, an officer with the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), was awarded the Queen’s Gallantry Medal.
The police officer was stabbed in the head while trying to save a woman and two young children in February 2012 and is to receive a bravery medal.
