Thursday, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) said his Democratic counterpart House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) record-setting eight-hour speech about protecting DREAMers Wednesday on the floor was “impressive.”
Ryan said, “My hat’s off to her. I don’t know that I could have hacked that for eight hours, so it was pretty darn impressive.”
He added, “I would have gone to the bathroom well before then, I got to tell you.”
