‘Fed up’: The Duchess of Cambridge asks husband William to step up

There’s only a month to go before Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William will go from a family of four to a family of five, as they welcome their third baby.
And while the final countdown is a period filled with huge excitement, expectant parents will know it’s also a time tinged with nerves – something that has reportedly been heightened in recent weeks for the royal couple.

Due to their already busy schedule, including some official solo engagements, Kate, 36, and William, 35, have been forced to spend short periods apart – a fact that’s not gone unnoticed with the Duchess of Cambridge, who has asked her husband to try to lend more of a hand.

‘WILLIAM’S IN DENIAL’

During a solo visit to Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London, Kate recently revealed that ‘William’s in denial’ when it comes to the latest addition to their brood, currently numbering Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two.

It was a light-hearted remark, but insiders tell Woman that the question of his readiness for the new arrival has been playing on her mind ever since.

A royal source tells us, ‘Kate and William can’t wait for baby number three, but with the pressures of family and royal life, Kate really wants him home as much as possible so that he can to pull his weight, too.’

With a busy household and two under-fours to look after, Kate’s feeling slightly fed up and, as a result, has said she wants help from William,’ our insider continues.

This comes after William himself confessed to being apprehensive about their new arrival.

Speaking at the Centrepoint Awards held at Kensington Palace in early February, William told guests, ‘Two is fine – I don’t know how I’m going to cope with three, I’m going to be permanently tired.’

UNITED FRONT

Despite their apparent differences, the couple have been keen to put on a united front in recent weeks.

They were all smiles when they made their first official joint royal engagement with Prince Harry and former Suits star Meghan, when the group – dubbed the ‘Fab Four’– attended the first annual Royal Foundation Forum in London.

And no doubt when baby number three arrives this April, Kate and William will be making up for lost time. We wish them all the best as they start their new chapter.

WELCOME DISTRACTIONS?

However, it seems William is finding lots to occupy him during the countdown to baby number three – in particular, his younger brother Prince Harry’s 19 May wedding to US actress Meghan Markle, which is threatening to take precedence.

With William widely thought to be taking on best man duties, the job of planning the stag do has fallen to him – and is beginning to take over – with rumours the party could be heading to Prince Andrew’s £13 million Chalet Helora in Verbier, in the Swiss Alps.

Our source continues, ‘Kate understands it’s an exciting time for Harry, but worries that William might end up spending more time thinking about his brother’s stag do than about the baby they are about to welcome.’

Emily in Paris Fans Think Kim Cattrall Will Make an Appearance in Season 3

Published

on

instyle– Fans are speculating a major pop-culture crossover in season 3 of Emily in Paris. After Kim Cattrall infamously turned down the chance to revive her Sex and the City character, Samantha Jones, for the rebootfans couldn’t help but wonder if Jones could make an appearance in the next season of the cult-favorite Netflix show.

If you’re watching And Just Like That … (and even if you’re not), you know that Cattrall’s character is supposedly off working her public relationships magic in London, England, just a quick trip from Emily (Lily Collins) and her booming marketing firm, Savoir.

Fans noticed major parallels between the characters, from their location to their sex positivity to their career in communications. Plus, both series were created by big-time Hollywood producer Darren Star — with SATC costume designer Patricia Field now responsible for Emily’s kitschy, Parisian looks — making a collab that much more believable.

One Twitter user wrote, “Current theory: Samantha has supposedly moved overseas, hence her lack of presence in the new SATC TV series. Then she shows up by total surprise in a crossover episode of EMILY IN PARIS. I would watch Samantha try to tolerate Emily, 100 percent.”

Collins fueled the flames by teasing a possible season 3. The actress posted photographs from her Vogue Hong Kong cover featuring a jet-black shag haircut and dark makeup writing, “Season 3 pivot?? Who’s with me? …” Collins used the same caption when reposting a fan’s Tweet with the magazine images that read, “Emily in Berlin.”

Women Who Work Outside Road-Tested the Season’s Cutest Winter Coats

Published

on

If you’re in the market for a new winter coat, there’s no shortage of options out there. Fuzzy, puffy, water resistant, bright — whatever you want, a quick Google search will surely lead you to something that promises to be top-notch. But will it actually be warm and stand up to the elements? Ehh…that’s not always a guarantee. Some coats photograph well but turn out to be flimsier, breezier, or less precipitation-proof than they look.

This season, though, InStyle.com decided to take some of that risk out of the equation. We wanted honest coat reviews — ones that told us something that wasn’t in the product description. So, we recruited the help of five ‘cold professionals,’ AKA women who work outside as part of their job. We gave them one of the coats we’d been coveting, had them walk around in it for about an hour (while we snapped photos, of course), and then asked them questions to determine its overall rating, which accounts for warmth but also coolness.

Thankfully, this crew didn’t hold back and shared some solid advice for those wondering what jacket is really worth their money this winter.

Of the many fashion and beauty lines that members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan have launched over the past few years, Kim Kardashian West’s Skims is undoubtedly one of the family’s biggest hits. Since its debut in 2019, the shapewear and loungewear brand has won rave reviews (and earned a whole lot of money) for its comfortable styles and inclusive sizing, and so it’s no wonder that its products often sell out super quickly.
