Jurgen Klopp rates chances of Nabil Fekir transfer after Liverpool sign Alisson
Jurgen Klopp has given a clear indication that Liverpool will not resurrect their deal to sign Nabil Fekir before the transfer window closes.
On Thursday, Liverpool completed their fourth signing of the summer with the £66.8 million deal for Alisson, which is a world-record fee for a goalkeeper.
Fekir, meanwhile, came close to joining Liverpool last month but Jurgen Klopps side pulled the plug on the £53m deal they had in place with Lyon.
Liverpool had expressed concerns over the midfielders right knee after he required two operations to heal a cruciate ligament injury.
Lyon had remained open to selling Fekir to Liverpool, and the midfielder hinted to a fan at Moscows Sheremetyevo International Airport on Monday that his move could still be on the cards.
But Klopp said on Thursday evening that Liverpool are unlikely to sign any more players following Alissons arrival from Roma.
We have everything we need for the next season, because I dont think we will do anything more. Im pretty sure of that, said Klopp.
We have the squad for now and thats the most important thing.
We were not too bad last year but we had to improve and we tried that on the transfer market.
Im really happy with our signings to be honest, so now lets use the last few weeks to be as good as possible.
