Aubameyang scored twice in the north London derby victory over Tottenham and will hope to enjoy more success against Jose Mourinhos United on Wednesday night.
The 29-year-olds brace against Spurs saw him become the outright top goalscorer in the Premier League this season with ten goals.
Aubameyang said: I think Im not at my 100 per cent, but it is coming. Its coming.
Against Tottenham, I felt very good on the pitch and I am really happy. But my best form is coming.
Manchester City duo Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling and Tottenhams Harry Kane are just two goals behind Aubameyang in the Golden Boot race.
But Gabons Aubameyang believes he is just as good as the Premier Leagues elite strikers, adding: I hope Im at the same level [as Kane, Aguero and Salah] and I think so, yes.
Its early in the season. We have good strikers in the Premier League, so it will be tough [to finish as top scorer].
But Im happy we won yesterday. The most important thing is the team. Its the best league in the world so its a great challenge for me.
Aubameyang started up front against Tottenham but has at times been used on the left wing by Gunners boss Unai Emery.
Asked about his favoured position, the prolific striker said: Of course I prefer playing centrally.
But I know that I am can help the team and sometimes the coach puts me on the left side. But as I said, its my favourite position, so on Sunday it was good.
