A man has been shot dead and three others are injured after a drive-by shooting during the rapper Nipsey Hussles funeral.
Police said they were hit as the funeral procession for the star drove through the streets of Los Angeles which were lined with mourners.
Three men and a woman, aged between 30 and 50, were hit by bullets fired from a vehicle that is now being hunted by cops.
Police chief Michel Moore said: In the midst of this procession we have a multi-4 Shooting at 103 St and Main St. Victims are 3 Male Blacks and 1 Female Black – ages from 30-50 years old. Suspects in gray Hyundai fired on the victims.
Tragically one is deceased. We must stop this senseless violence.
Among the mourners were a host of stars including Stevie Wonder and Snoop Dogg who have gathered at the Staples Centre arena for a public memorial.
Police also revealed two women were wounded by gunfire as a crowd stampeded during a vigil for the rapper.
About 400 people had gathered to mourn Hussle on March 31, the same day he was fatally shot and two others injured outside his shop The Marathon.
A search is now underway for the shooter.
