Tottenham are sweating on the fitness of midfielder Harry Winks ahead of Tuesdays trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City in the Champions League.

The England international started in Wednesdays 1-0 win against Pep Guardiolas side but was replaced by Victor Wanyama late on.

Mauricio Pochettino made seven changes for Spurs Premier League clash against Huddersfield at home on Saturday, thanks in part to injuries sustained by Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

However, while the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Heung-Min Son made the bench, there was no sign of Winks.
