Liverpool star Xherdan Shaqiri has confessed hes been left feeling downbeat over a lack of playing time under Jurgen Klopp this season.

The 27-year-old winger has only made substitute appearances in the Premier League this term, coming on in the second half against Manchester City, Burnley and Newcastle.

It was a similar story on Tuesday evening as Shaqiri was introduced in the 87th minute of Liverpools 2-0 defeat away to Napoli in the Champions League.

Though Shaqiri refuses to blame Klopp for his lack of game-time, the Switzerland international admits hes been left frustrated in recent weeks.
