Arsenal legend Ian Wright has predicted that Liverpool will get the better of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Liverpool are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table with a 100 per cent record in the top flight this season, while Chelsea are down in ninth after a mixed start under Frank Lampard.

The Blues have won just two of their five league games and suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Valencia in Champions League on Tuesday night.

Academy products Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount have shone in front of goal – netting ten times between them this term – and Wright believes Lampards side are likely to breach Liverpools defence on Sunday.

However, the former Arsenal striker has backed Jurgen Klopps men to come away from Stamford Bridge with a 3-1 victory.

Elsewhere, Wright believes Arsenal will bounce back from their draw at Watford with a 2-1 win over Aston Villa at the Emirates.

West Ham to beat Manchester United 2-1 at the London Stadium is perhaps the biggest shock in Wrights predictions.

Manchester United great Gary Neville believes Chelsea will struggle against the European champions on Sunday.

I mentioned the Champions League with Liverpool last season and got it wrong in the sense that I didnt think Liverpool could compete in two competitions right to the very end and got it horribly wrong, Neville told Sky Sports.

I still think Liverpool need to win a Premier League title, its absolutely essential that they do that. Particularly with this team that theyve got now.
