MRG Metals reveals high quality results from Corridor Heavy Mineral Sands Project portfolio
MRG Metals Ltd (ASX:MRQ) has revealed high quality mineral assemblage results from 16 composite samples within its Corridor Heavy Minerals Sand Projects in Mozambique.
Key results include:
Up to 68.29% combined Ilmenite / leucoxene, 2.17% rutile, and 2.91% zircon at the Nhacutse target;
50.45% combined Ilmenite / leucoxene, 0.84% rutile, and 1.93% zircon at the Koko Massava East target; and
46.50% combined Ilmenite / leucoxene, 0.75% rutile, and 1.78% zircon at Poiombo.
The composite samples were determined by Qemscan analysis, an integrated system comprising a scanning electron microscope and energy dispersing spectrometer plus proprietary software for data collection which is routinely used for determination of bulk mineral assemblage for heavy mineral sand samples.
